Equilibrium investigates themes of transformative forces in balance. A stylized steel hand rises from the water, lifting an abstracted series of hand-forged copper shapes reclaimed from the Stulz manufacturing plant in Frederick. With a center of gravity positioned below the pivot point, the brightly enameled elements move in response to wind—spinning, rising, and settling—always returning to a state of balance.
